David Lebowitz, DMD, Ph.D, CAS

Dr. David Lebowitz is our staff periodontist, who brings over 30 years of periodontal expertise to our practice. Dr. Lebowitz received his Certificate of Advanced Study in Periodontics and Postdoctoral Certificate in Periodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1978 and his Bachelor's degree from Boston University. Dr. Lebowitz is one of few doctors with degrees from all major teaching institutions in Boston.

As a periodontist, Dr. Lebowitz focuses his practice on dental implants, tooth extractions and bone grafting, osseous surgery, and guided tissue regeneration. He is an expert in the use of all major implant systems. Dr. Lebowitz works closely with Dr. Chen to co-treatment plan full mouth reconstructions, overdentures, and dental implant restorations. Dr. Lebowitz takes a hands on approach with all his patients to ensure maximium quality of patient care.
